i think that the Guild Newsletter is superb and getting better each issue. i especially appreciate all the artist opportunities and member news. Thanks again, Karen and also the members who feed her the info.

i am in mourning. Mary Travers (of Peter, Paul and Mary) is gone . She was my age of 72. I remember seeing her in Newport with Dylan and Baez and she said Hi to me when she climbed over a small picket fence to the backstage area. What a smile! and lovely legs also! Where have all the Flowers gone?

Working on a Utube presentation of the show, Jonathan. There are some wonderful pieces, as you will see. Lots of good works! Lots of entries, too. You've got your work cut out...

I chose not to submit anything for the Abstractions show. I know the style of my work can be all over the map, but if I have any kind of continuity, it's that my paintings are representational.

Hopefully Mike Montanero is honing all those submissions down to a reasonable number.

I'm going to be hanging the show tomorrow morning. Right now it looks like there are only going to be three of us for the job, so if there are any PAG members out there reading this before Thursday morning, and you want to help, please sent me a message and feel free to show up at 9am.

Seems like there were a lot of entries into Abstractions. I was 127 &128 as of 6:30 last night and people seemed to be pouring in. It wil be interesting to hear final number. 200 would be great

Thanks for the info to join Create RI. i have joined several of the the groups offered such as Fakes and Forgeries (copying old master works is my favorite pastime other than portraits). i am laboring right now to finish a commission with the loss of vision caused by a stroke in my right eye last week but the left eye is still perfect and it is going well. i hope to resume all activities shortly after a short rest.
