I don't buy a lot of different things there. But what I buy - printmaking paper mostly, is very cheap compared to other stores. They also have great sales - like 20% off your entire order. The other day I ordered a 100 pack of Stonhenge Natural 22x30 paper for $129, which is about 60% off retail.

Their website www.jerrysartarama.com and their sister company www.aswexpress.com are pretty well done. ASW has a flat $5.95 shipping charge, on all orders. If you create an account they will send you coupons for 10-20% off like every week.

Jan said he might take me up on the wine offer ( i hope that means he will do it for Member's exhibit). i think it would be great and the Salon de Refuse' induces more people to enter and join Guild since they have invested time and entry fee and will get work exhibited somewhere. A lot of good work is not shown because of many reasons (i.e. juror's biases, large amount of entries, etc.). The Impressionists and other artists were recognized beause of a Salon de Refuse' in the past. I guess i just love Art History being repeated. Jan was very creative in thinking of this idea. The guild ( directors) should follow thru in the future and assist him even if is is just to get volunteers to help him repeat the effort.
