About Me:

I am a New England painter. Following a long line of artists trying to capture the beauty found along the rugged coast, mountains, and coastal towns of the region. My painting challenge is trying to capture the way sunlight transforms the spectacular and the ordinary into something stunning.

I am primarily a self taught painter. But have received instruction in workshops and night classes from Plein Air painters, David Lussier, Randall Sexton, Trish Hurley. John MacGowan, and Tom Deininger.

Holy Cow YES!!!! I would love to be invited to whatever whenever. Life is growing dull as my RISD group dwindles. I have yet to do any site specific works in Newport and really haven't explored RI much at all since graduation. Thanks a ton! I can't say I"ll be able to make it to all the meets, but the invite/community will help my motivation.
