The Liberty Elm

If you are ever in the Providence area and want to try something new, there's a little diner on Elmwood Avenue called The Liberty Elm. It's located at 777 Elmwood Ave., not too far from Roger Williams Zoo. Current hrs are Tues-Sun from 8am-3pm, with live local music on Sunday mornings. This place is unique. They don't pretend to be anything other than who they are and they love and support artists of all kinds. Local, natural and organic ingredients used as much as possible.

Hundertwasser

The other day someone asked me if I had heard of an artist named Hundertwasser. I hadn't, so I looked him up and I found his ideas, architecture and paintings to be very interesting. I like what he seemed to be about. Screw straight lines and love the earth back and allow people to express that which makes them unique...Stop killing the artist in all of us and in Nature!!! Do with it what you will...

Well, I am hoping you can come hang out, too ! It is such a party ! I have my own venue and it has gone so wel that last 2 years that I now invite other artists to exhibit with me...one is a jewlery artisan who's just AH MAZ ING. Hey Sunny~
You mentioned about your Mom having bought my work; I sent you a response but I'm thinking it didn't go through because I don't see it here. Anyway, please thank her for me and let her know I'll be back at the same spot during Wickford Weekend this year, with an even larger gallery. I give my repeat buyers a nice discount, so let her know I'l be there ! :) Thank you for mentioning this.
Warmly: Susi

I ADORE the collage--great arrangement, fabulous color!! Your paintings are wonderful; I urge you to continue devloping that style. I esp loved the one of the woman, drawn in white, tiny dots, on a black field; wonderfully expressive.
Keep up the great work~Warmly: Susi

I've never looked at abstract work that has more emotional texture than what I've seen here and on your website. Truly awesome.

Sunny, Thanks for the comments, you made my morning plus gave me a chuckle. You can paint, I wish my abstract work looked like yours. Keep pushing paint, mark

Thanks Mark...All different sizes, but a lot of 36x48s...don't ask me why. I just had a little, somewhat private show at the Deadcat Gallery on Elmwood. It was a hoot because I've only shown my paintings at DWR, a furniture store on Westminster, and the Cranston Public Library! Pretty funny, huh? I'll check your page out...
